Alain Ducasse tonight. But first, a snack.
Matsu Sushi makes a great snack. Miso Soup for digestion, a light Salad with ginger dressing.
The Chirashi Bowl looks small, but it's generous and reasonably-priced. The salmon is slick and sweet, the snapper is fresh, and the tuna is a little more meaty. You get plenty of slices, and they're the ideal mid-afternoon prequel to a large, late-night meal.
The service is polite, and the restaurant is empty, but we feel quite welcome. I like that it's family-run, and it's a nice, random little pop-in at Etienne Marcel. If there weren't so many choices in Paris, I probably would come back for a few more snacks.
