Tiny, adorable, cozy date place for established couples who want a romantic night. Uncomfortably intimate for first/early dates due to the necessity of the try-to-take-off-your-coat-without-punching-the-guy-at-the-next-table maneuver. The mood is set by 8 tables, dimmed lights and beautiful glasses of Italian wine. The food was good though not memorable – don’t order the baked cod or the chicken masala – both dishes are by no means regrettable but also by no means special. The salt cod is somehow way too salty - I have the sneaking suspicion they put the salt that should have gone into the chicken into the cod...My experience in several North End restaurants tells me that the pasta is always better than the actual entrees. It’s also worth mentioning that they comped us a yummy salad appetizer and a dessert even though we only ordered entrees. There’s no faster way to my heart than tiramisu!
