The name is strangely appealing. You can just picture a bird in a smoking barrel, skin getting crispy, sealing in all the juices. The shack itself reminds me of a game-watch - barbecue and beer, relaxing yet full of energy.
I love their beer by the ounce. Lots of local varieties on tap, and you take as much or as little as you're willing to try. They have some smooth IPAs, and they even carry a sour and a cider.
Chicken Burrito: goes with the beer. It's as hefty as they say it is, full of flame-cooked chicken and tangy tomato-tossed Mexican rice.
I would come back. All the time. It's a chain, but it feels more homey than commercial, and it's no-frills with plenty of chill. I'll never get tired of just sitting here with a beer, watching the crowds roll by.
