Brewery in the "friendly city"; food, brews, and food with brews for multifaceted fun.
They have so many on tap, and make sure you tap into some of my favorites. Their Elevation Pale Ale is a barely-there sweet and light, and the Pines IPA is crisp and refreshing. Their lineup also includes fresh faces like the Rocketship Rye just might skyrocket them to to fame - I love the darker notes. The Bourbon Daylight is a new one: a beautiful barrel-aged stout. Sweet bourbon juxtaposes with bitter, barely-carbonated stout.
Tacos are the special: seasoned ground beef in a hard shell with lettuce an cheese, a bonus side of chips and bean dip.
The so-called Corn Dogs are sweet cornmeal encasing a chunk of jalapeno-cheese sausage, and they are the best thing you can do for your beer.
The Buffalo Wings are surprisingly spot-on as well. The chicken is juicy, and the hot buffalo sauce has a nice kick.
Beer and food that goes with beer. Burnin' Daylight in a nutshell. A great new up-and-comer on the South Bay brewing scene, this one has the potential to be a major contender.
