Skip the meat and just eat vegan. This is a rare restaurant geared toward vegans that tries to accommodate carnivores.
The key word here is "TRY", because they have varying lower levels of success. Their Miso Cod is sugar-coated rubber,
and the Yellowtail Collar is bland and dry. It's undoubtedly overcooked in several spots, but the quality of the fish is clear.
The Sunset Dream sushi is a nightmare. The bluefin tuna on top was not inedible, but it was clearly half brown. The crispy kale dissolves into puddles of oil, making this the only occasion where I actually preferred to taste the kale.
Foodies, don't despair. The fish leaves a bit to be desired, but just a simple side of Kabocha Pumpkin can almost atone for it all. Garlic soy glazes slices of sweet squash, a saute so superb it tastes like it was caramelized.
The Green Garden roll is has a meaty mushroom beneath an avocado cream. Truffle sauce offsets the soft-spoken savor and makes is flavors pop.
