It is exactly what it sounds like; fried fries with more extravagant ingredients and tons of sauce on top. And it's all pretty good fun, but it won't do much to change your culinary life.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. The Buffalo Ranch Chicken, for one, is awesomely fun. It's spicy with buffalo fire, cooled with sweet, creamy ranch, lots of chicken to add some savor, and it tastes just like a concentrated mouthful of America's favorite wing without the bones.
The Honey Garlic Shrimp Steak is a less likeable option. The meat is tough and a little dry. I wasn't expecting wagyu, but this is a bit unpleasant. The shrimp are alright, but again, a little bit dry, and they left the tails on which makes eating everything together a lot more difficult. Good on the garlicky hot honey, but overall very meh.
What is the cost of labor? Are you willing to $15-25 for pre-assembled fries when you can make them at home for half the cost? Answer before you order. I had to try it once, but considering the mediocre quality and the minimal amount of work required, I'll just jump on the DIY train next time a craving strikes.
